About BabySelfie
Babyselfie is best to believe that 3D & 4D ultrasound will create a deeper bond between the expectant mother and baby. How do I know? I have shared this bonding experience with many expectant mothers, families, and new parents. Even from personal experience, when I had my little one, I went to get a 3D ultrasound myself, and it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience I will not forget. As your sonographer, not only am I certified to do ultrasound, but I have also been able to train with professionals specializing in 2D/3D/4D to be able to perform quality ultrasound readings. Having an ultrasound is an important moment for any expectant mother, and it is my duty to work hard to make this moment special by providing the best customer service that will leave you with a smile on your face.
What is 3D/4D Ultrasound?
4D HD Live is a high-definition term for a 4D ultrasound from a General Electric system. This is an exciting new technology that lets you see your baby in a realistic view, or what many call the flesh tone look. This will show the baby with a reddish or pinkish color as if you are seeing the baby inside the womb.
**Please note that insurance does not cover the costs of our elective Ultrasound services.**
When is the time frame for Ultrasounds?
It is recommended anywhere between 14–18 weeks for gender reveal (14 weeks is the earliest you can tell a baby's gender with an ultrasound).
As for the best 3D/4D ultrasound, it is anywhere between 27–36 weeks for the best facial pictures of your baby.
When to do to prepare for your visit:
Drink the normal 2 liters of water a day (8 glasses or 64 oz.) for 3 full days leading up to your appointment time. You can also take Gatorade or anything with electrolytes. Water hydrates you and your body, which then increases the amount of amniotic fluid. This is the fluid needed to render your images. Positions of the baby you cannot control, but this helps push the placenta off the baby’s face. You DO NOT need a full bladder. **Please wear comfortable, loose clothing or even leggings, jeans make it difficult to work with since the baby's head is usually down.**
